Father's Day

Father's day this year was nice and relaxing, which I liked since there is always something I have to do.  Don't get me wrong there's never a shortage of things to do, but I didn't let myself worry about them.  Kelly started off the day by making some "granny" biscuits, using flower that we can only get when we make our trips down to Tennessee.  After breakfast she gave me my father's day cards from both her and Robbie.  My gifts included a new screw driver set, can never have enough tools, and a nice glass picture holder
with the name Robert etched in it.

Later we went to my parents house to celebrate father's day for my dad.  I had gotten him a t-shirt in Myrtle beach that said "Still Plays With Blocks" with a picture of a V-8 engine block.  He's got a 1976 Grand Prix he's worked on here and there including rebuilding the engine so the shirt was fitting.

Father's Day

Today was Father's Day, my first real one (last year my family celebrated it for me when Robbie was still in Kelly's tummy).  It was nice getting a chance to relax, Kelly told me I wasn't allowed to do anything (but I did anyway, I couldn't let her exhaust herself).  I had lots of fun playing with Robbie in his "Daddy's #1 Fan" shirt.
