Enjoying Baths Again

A couple months ago Robbie really started to hate baths, causing him to scream and cry when we gave him his baths.  He really hated getting his hair washed, we believe the cause is that he got some soap in his eyes once.

Luckily with all this time he's spent in pools and the ocean playing in water he has slowly gotten back to enjoying bath time.  He went from getting upset when we asked him about taking a bath to getting really excited when we ask.  He's still not very happy when we get his head wet but at least he's not screaming bloody murder like he used to.  While he doesn't like getting his head washed, we're glad that he's enjoying and playing during the rest his baths again.

Yup He's A Boy

I got some mulch with grampy's truck to put around the yard, and Robbie kept "digging" the mulch I had laid down and was throwing it around.  So we figured lets let him dig in the bed of the truck where he wouldn't mess up what I already put down.  I'll let the pictures and video speak how much fun he had doing it.  Needless to say he needed a bath afterwards.

The soap stings

We've posted previously about how much of a water baby Robbie is, and how he loves his baths.  Well he's still a water baby, but he's hit a phase where he hates baths.  We believe he got some soap in his eyes a couple times and now he cries the entire bath.  Bath time has gotten much shorter lately.  Hopefully he'll  grow out of it sooner than later and realize his eyes don't always sting when he gets a bath.  We're sure he'll eventually get back the the happy splish splashing little toddler that loves to play in his baths again.

Water baby

Robbie really enjoys taking his baths, when he does he splashes and plays with his duckies.  He likes it so much that he tried to take a bath in the family room with his clothes still on.

Big boy bath

Robbie is sooo big that he no longer fits in his infant wash tub (see pic the second from march).  So Kelly found an inflatable one that he does fit in, he's not able to sit up yet but it's rigid enough to support him.  He seems to like the new one better, he's now got water he can play with.
